Cello Instructor, Assistant to the Director
Responsibilities:
teaching a private studio of a minimum of 20 students
preparing students for recitals, concerts, contests, auditions, etc.
assisting in group classes, chamber music ensembles, festivals, masterclasses, students recitals, camps
working directly with OCM Director in development, programming and forward-moving vision of the music school
Position requirements:
Master’s Degree in Cello Performance
minimum of two years experience in private and group lessons teaching
experience in professional performance
attention to detail
pleasant personality allowing to easily connect with students of all ages
ability to work well with other teachers and with OCM Director
passion for performance and music education
Position preferred qualifications/experience:
non-Suzuki teaching experience
Comfortable in teaching students of all ages (from very young children to adults) and abilities (beginner through advanced)
continuous activity as a musician
experience in administrative aspects of running an organization
attention to continuous education in cello pedagogy
Compensation:
100% of student private lesson fee, equaling to $35 per each 30 minute lesson, $45 per each 45 minute lesson, $60 per each hour lesson

Piano Instructor, Collaborative Pianist
Responsibilities:
teaching a studio of a minimum of 15 piano students
preparing students for recitals, concerts, contests, auditions, etc.
working together with other OCM piano faculty on implementation of group piano classes, guest masterclasses, camps, etc., with the help of OCM Director
working with string students in a collaborative way, accompanying the students in recitals, competitions, contests, etc.
Position requirements:
Master’s Degree in Piano Performance
minimum of two years experience in teaching private piano lessons to students of all ages and abilities
experience in professional performance
experience as collaborative pianist
pleasant personality allowing to easily connect with students of all ages
Position preferred qualifications/experience:
comfortable in teaching students of all ages (from very young children to adults) and abilities (beginner through advanced)
continuous activity as a musician
attention to continuous education in piano pedagogy
able to accompany students in recitals, competitions, etc.
Compensation:
$27.04 per each 30 minute lesson, $34.77 per each 45 minute lesson, $46.36 per each hour lesson
accompanying fee is left to the discretion of the pianist. Fee paid directly by the student.
